The UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, met on Friday with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, in the framework of a series of meetings held by the UN envoy on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference.

A post, published by the UN Mission in Libya on their official Facebook page, stated that those present at the meeting discussed issues related to combating impunity and targeting those who commit brutal crimes in Libya.

The UN envoy conducted a series of meetings with international officials during his participation in the Munich Security Conference, including the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, to discuss latest developments in Libya.
