The United Nations expressed its concern on Monday regarding the airstrike by unidentified aircraft on Al-Watiya Air Base, late on Saturday night.

The Spokesman for the Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, at a press conference, called on all sides to abide by Security Council resolutions regarding Libya and the outputs of the Berlin conference.

Dujarric said “These actions are fueling the conflict, increasing its intensity on civilians,” urging everyone to reach a ceasefire agreement at the earliest possible time.
