The United Nations Special Representative for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met with African ambassadors in Tripoli on Wednesday as part of her initial consultations with the diplomatic community. She was joined by her deputy and Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs, Anis Chuma.

According to a statement from the UN mission, the meeting—hosted by Ghana’s ambassador—provided an update on the mission’s work and the activities of the advisory committee. It also addressed regional challenges linked to Libya’s ongoing developments.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the UN and the African Union, particularly on security, migration, and national reconciliation efforts in Libya.
