The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) said that a United Nations specialized team has observed the bank’s assessment of the performance of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya over the past years, listening to recommendations on how to develop and improve the performance of the mission’s work.

This came during a meeting, which took place with the Governor of the CBL, Sadiq Al-Kabir, in his office on Monday, with the UN team headed by Abdoulaye Bathili, along with his accompanying delegation, whose task was to evaluate the performance of UNSMIL in Libya.

The team also met last week with the Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, along with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Al-Dbeibah, and several other Libyan officials.
