Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in the Government of National Unity, Mahmoud Saeed, has discussed with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Interior, Mehmet Ersoy, problems facing students and Libyan community in Turkey, and reaching agreement on exchanging information about prisoners and detainees.

This came during his visit, Tuesday, to the capital, Ankara, where the two parties agreed to continue communication through the security attache at the Libyan embassy with Turkish interior officials to solve these problems, according to the embassy’s statement on its Facebook page.

This meeting was preceded by another meeting with the head of the Immigration Department in the capital, Ankara, on the same issue.

The Turkish side pledged to overcome the difficulties related to visa and residence for Libyan students in Turkey, activate the cooperation of the international police offices of Interpol in the two countries, and expedite the completion of the agreement to activate driving licenses for the citizens of the two countries.
