An urgent maintenance campaign has been launched in Sirte for the repair of several high and primary schools that were affected by the war on ISIS, which took place last year in the city.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has commissioned construction companies to carry out maintenance work to these schools.
The repair work is expected to continue for three months. Another 12 schools will be maintained with a financial value of more than $ 2 million, as agreed between the United Nations Development Program and the Municipality of Sirte.
