Unexpected malfunction forces Libyan aircraft to return to runway at Mitiga Airport

The administration at Mitiga International Airport announced a sudden unexpected malfunction on a Libyan Airlines plane heading for Istanbul Airport in Turkey.
The administration stated that permission was granted for the aircraft to return to the airport for maintenance work after dumping fuel at sea in order for a safe landing.
For its part, Libyan Airlines explained in a post on its official Facebook page that a sudden unforeseen malfunction occurred in one of the tyres of the aircraft, leading to the plane being recalled to the airport, where engineering and maintenance teams carried out all necessary repairs, returning the craft to its normal operational status.
