The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Libya has expressed its support to the health system in Libya, supporting the health system in Libya by improving access and ensuring continuity of services in healthcare facilities that serve refugees, asylum-seekers, displaced persons, returnees and the host community.

The UNHCR's partner, the International Rescue Committee (IRC), has provided more than 4,000 medical consultations at UNHCR’s Community Day Centre so far this year. The 24/7 hotline has received more than 500 calls and made more than 270 referrals, the UNHCR said in a tweet.
