The Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani, has affirmed the ministry's desire to establish joint cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in all fields, especially social ones.
This came during her meeting on Monday, at the ministry's HQ in Tripoli, with the head of the UNHCR, according to the ministry official Facebook page.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed human rights issues and the provision of humanitarian assistance to vulnerable groups, poor women and people with disabilities, in addition to the UNHCR’s support for small and medium projects for all needy groups.
