The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) handed over three equipped ambulances to the Hospitals of Al-Hadhba, Central Tripoli, and The National Heart Centre of Tajoura.

The UNHCR said that these hospitals are one of the main points for receiving cases of emergency in western Libya, pointing out that the ambulances will be used for transferring critical cases and to enhance the medical services amid the ongoing clashes in Tripoli.

In recent weeks, UNHCR announced it had distributed basic medical items to the main hospitals in Tripoli.
