UN Security Council to Receive ICC Briefing on Libya

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a session this November to hear a semi-annual briefing from International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan on developments regarding Libya.

The briefing, according to the UNSC website, will outline the ICC's efforts to ensure accountability for crimes committed in Libya.

In addition, the Council will address political developments, including supporting momentum toward national elections and the formation of a unified government, which remain key priorities for the Council.
