The head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Ghassan Salame, has met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), at the invitation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, with the EU foreign ministers to discuss the Libyan crisis, the UN mission disclosed on Facebook.
Salame briefed the ministers on the situation in Libya. For their part, the EU ministers expressed their support for Salame's efforts in Libya.
