The Chairman of the Dialogue Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) Abdul Salam Nassia expressed his surprise at what he described as the disregard of the UNSMIL for the progress made in the unification of the executive authority issue.

"Is the disregard of the UNSMIL to the progress made in uniting the executive authority attributed to the mission's insistence on holding to the Presidential Council and to continue the division because of the lack of a regional consensus, or to extend the UN mission's task, as in the legislative and executive bodies in Libya "? Nassia asked via his Twitter account on Monday.

The High Council of State (HCS) approved on 15 October, the restructuring of the PC, to consist of a president and two deputies, and that the President of the Government of National Accord shall be separate from the Pc in accordance with a proposal submitted by the HoR.
