The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has renewed its commitment to facilitating an inclusive political process led and owned by Libyans, which will lead to free and credible national elections, unified and accountable institutions, and respect for human rights.
The UNSMIL congratulated the Libyan people on the 14th anniversary of the February 17th Revolution, emphasizing that it understands the current challenges and the threat the status quo poses to Libya's unity.
The mission urged all Libyan leaders to engage in good faith and compromise to forge a path towards a better future.
