The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, has expressed his admiration for the voting preparations in one of the polling stations that he visited.

“As the polling station is in a school, I was fortunate to meet children participating in a civic education program”, Norland tweeted, noting that these children represent the Libyan future.

In his visit, Norland was accompanied by the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh and the regional director for the Middle East and North Africa of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), Daniel Rubinstein.
