The US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland visited on Monday, the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to meet with senior Egyptian officials to discuss the way forward in Libya.

“Norland is visiting Cairo to discuss how as partners, Egypt and the US can work with all parties to support Libyans’ expectation of presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible”, the US embassy tweeted.
