President of the US Council on Foreign Relations, Richard Haass criticized Washington's policy towards Libya, saying that it is a misguiding policy and there is no evidence of a policy process.

"This results in a gap between President Donald Trump and his administration, no consistency, and bad policy. It is a prescription for disaster," Haass tweeted in a commentary to the New York Times article.
