The US Embassy in Libya has reiterated that reopening the coastal road is an essential step for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
Washington expressed, through a statement by its embassy in Libya, its strong support, along with the UN mission to the Joint Military Committee 5+5, and its call to immediately reopen the coastal road.
The road "serves as a vital link for trade and a necessary supply route for items like vaccines and fuel benefitting all Libyans," the embassy added.
