In a meeting with the High Council of State Member Safwan Al-Masuri, the acting Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Brent, emphasized the importance of local and international collaboration in mitigating the effects of Storm Daniel and rehabilitating the affected cities.

He highlighted the necessity of dialogue among Libyan parties, mediated by the United Nations, to advance the political process.

The parties discussed the planned dialogue and underscored the importance of building on the 6+6 committee outcomes to form a new and unified government within a specific timeframe.
