The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Manqoush, said on Friday that she conveyed clear messages on the situation of Libya during her meetings in New York, regarding accelerating the elections and ending the transitional stages.

“On the other hand, we found a positive international discourse that rejects any militarization and calls for the understanding and rationalization of differences, and we affirmed our commitment to that”, Al-Manqoush tweeted.

The minister's comments came on the sidelines of her presence in New York to attend the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, where she met her counterparts from Lebanon, Qatar, Algeria and Tunisia, as well as US officials.
