The representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Libya, Elizabeth Hoff and her accompanying delegation, have visited the Bambino Children’s Hospital in the Italian capital, Rome, to discuss joint cooperation to support the treatment of children with cancer in Libya.

During the visit, Hoff confirmed that the WHO is making every effort, in cooperation with its partners, to give children with cancer in Libya the best opportunities to obtain treatment and lead a healthy life.

The WHO had signed a partnership agreement with the National Oil Corporation, funded by its international partners, Eni, Repsol and Total companies to promote and support treatment services for children with cancer in Libya.
