Acting Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Libya Stephanie Williams met Monday with representatives of the official Central Bank of Libya (CBL) and the parallel bank in Al-Bayda city, as well as members of the Audit Bureau, the National Oil Corporation (NOC), and the Libyan Economic Experts Committee.

According to a statement by the UN mission, the meeting discussed currency reform, the banking crisis, the unification of the national budget, including setting a timetable to implement these reforms.

It may be worth noting that more than 30 members taking part in the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) announced their withdrawal from the dialogue sessions after the UNSMIL changed the voting mechanism to pass specific persons, according to the withdrawing members.
