The Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on Libya, Stephanie Williams, met with a number of presidential and parliamentary registered candidates in Libya, including the Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, warlord Khalifa Haftar and former Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha.

“Among the wide range of various Libyan interlocutors I met so far, I had the opportunity to meet with a number of presidential and parliamentary registered candidates, in Tripoli, Misrata and Benghazi”, Williams said in a tweet.

Williams posted photos of her, gathering with Dbeibah, Haftar and Bashagha, saying, "I intend to meet more candidates in the coming days to hear from them about their views on the electoral process and the way forward".
