The UN Special Adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams has emphasized in a tweet the importance of continued consensus and the engagement of all actors in the political track while ensuring continued calm as a top national priority.

Williams met on Monday with a delegation from the High Council of State in Tripoli, which included committee chairpersons in the council, to discuss developments in the political process.

"They briefed me on the progress of the HoR and HCS roadmap committees and the existing consensus between the two chambers, the UN Rep. wrote on her account.

She expressed her appreciation to the HCS members for the "substantive briefing" they presented.
