The CEO of the German company Wintershall, Mario Mehrin said that the deteriorating security situation in Libya poses a risk to the company's current production of oil.

Mehrin told the Russian news agency, TASS, that oil production in Libya has become a daily struggle, adding that maintaining the company's production levels has become insecure, because of political and security instability.

The company's production in Libya measures about 50 thousand barrels of crude oil per day.
