The European Union's ambassador to Libya, Jose Sabadell, said that women's participation in elections is not only a question of Justice, also a condition for success of real change in Libya.
In a tweet, the EU ambassador expressed his happiness to participate in the Regional Conference for Enhancing Women's Participation in Elections, with the Minister of Women’s Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Houria Al-Turmal.
The conference was launched on Sunday under the supervision of the High National Elections Commission’s Women’s Support Unit, the Arab Network for Women in Elections, and the Libyan Women’s Union.
