The Benghazi Medical Center has organized a specialized workshop as part of the Oncology Treatment Localization Project, with the participation of a senior Egyptian medical team that included oncology consultants Dr. Hossam Al-Ful and Dr. Hassan Metwally.
The delegation was received by the center's director, Mohamed Madi, and head of the High Committee for Localizing Treatment, Suleiman Nashad.
During the workshop, 60 different tumor cases were examined, and 6 patients underwent delicate surgeries, with the participation of young Libyan medical personnel to enhance their competence.
The project aims to localize specialized treatment, develop skills of Libyan doctors, and improve health services for the public.
