Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas

Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production has accelerated preparations to initiate crude oil flow through the pipeline connecting the Iraoun and Sharara fields.

The company announced on Facebook that crude will begin filling the 97-kilometre, 12-inch diameter pipeline on Friday, signalling an imminent operation start.

Initial production from the Iraoun field is expected to exceed 10,000 barrels per day. On October 14, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) held discussions with Zallaf Libya on future projects and production goals for 2025.

The company also provided updates on the South Refinery Project, confirming the commencement of detailed design and equipment manufacturing for its final phase, with preparations underway to begin some preliminary site work in the coming weeks.
