Zliten municipality spokesman, Ismail Al-Jawsmi, confirmed the final toll of damage caused by the explosion of an ammunition warehouse last Thursday night.
Al-Jawsami said in a statement, that 28 homes and buildings were damaged as a result of the explosion, as well as the diabetes and endocrine hospital and the headquarters for Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency.
The damage inventory committee formed by the municipality submitted its report to the government, which will undertake to compensate those affected.
Al-Jawsmi explained that six injuries were recorded as a result of the explosion, one of whom was injured in the head and was transferred for treatment to Tunisia.
