Zliten mayor Muftah Hamadi urged in a letter the minister of health to agree on building a station for the medical waste, adding that the city’s municipality bought a land for the project, which will help the nearby healthcare centers and hospitals.
Earlier, the head of the committee tasked with getting rid of the medical waste sent a letter to Zliten environmental sector, telling them of the need to build an area special to the medical waste disposal in safe ways and methods.
