The Ministry of Health has announced the upcoming reopening of Zuwara Central Hospital, which has been closed for over 13 years.
This announcement was made during a visit by the Acting Minister, Ramadan Abu Janah, to the city, where he oversaw the operations of health institutions, ensured service availability to citizens, and addressed challenges and issues by implementing suitable measures.
The hospital's renovation commenced in 2009 but was interrupted during the February 17th Revolution before being resumed as part of the government's healthcare initiatives.
Zuwara Central Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in the western region, boasts a capacity of 450 beds and is furnished with advanced facilities, including operating rooms, medical equipment, outpatient clinics, and even an aviation runway.
