The Reform and Rehabilitation Institute in Tajoura suburb, east of Tripoli, has concluded the cultural and sports event, in the presence of the Minister of Justice Mohammed Lamloum.

The Ministry of Justice said that the one-week event included sports, entertainment, and cultural activities, which demonstrates the evolution of the rehabilitative role played by the reform institutions, by encouraging the positive engagement of inmates in rehabilitation and reform centres.

A ceremony was held on this occasion with the participation of senior judiciary officials, including the Acting Attorney General and Solicitor General of Tripoli, President of the East Tripoli Court, Head of the East Tripoli Prosecution Office, Head of the Prisons Inspection Section at the Office of the Attorney General, and Head of the Judicial Police Authority.

The Minister of Justice delivered a speech reiterating that his ministry is working with all its bodies, in particular with the reform and rehabilitation institutions within the framework of the law and respect for human rights.
