Abdullah Senussi

‎The lawyer of Abdullah al-Senussi, the head of the Gaddafi regime's intelligence service, Ahmed Nashad, reported that his client's trial had been postponed until January 12, 2025.

‎Nashad said that Sunday's session was postponed due to the lack of communication between the court and Mitiga prison where A-Senussi is being held, adding that the defense lawyers for some of the defendants had also requested a postponement to review and prepare.

The legal advisor to the Abu Salim Massacre Victims Association, ‎Mustafa Al-Majdoub, said that the case had been postponed until January 12, based on a request from the defendants' defense lawyers to prepare their pleadings. He said that the court had renewed the arrest warrants for 79 individuals in the Abu Salim case and continued detention of the other four detainees.

‎Abdullah Al-Senussi attended the session in early November, along with other defendants, via satellite, after having not attended several sessions since the beginning of this year.
