The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, asked the ministries, agencies, bodies, and institutions affiliated with his government to publish their expenditures for 2022 on their media platforms.

Dbeibah's instructions came in a letter by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Juma, to ministers and officials of government agencies, and institutions, and published by Hokoometna platform on Facebook.

Dbeibah confirmed that this procedure comes within the framework of "the principle of transparency and comprehensive disclosure of government expenditures," calling on them to coordinate with Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Ellafi in this regard.

This decision came after the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) published earlier on Wednesday its periodic report on revenues and expenditures, which covers the period from January 1 to December 31, 2022.

The volume of public revenues for the year 2022 amounted to about 134.4 billion dinars, and the volume of public spending reached 127.9 billion dinars, according to data from the Central Bank of Libya regarding public revenues and spending during the past year.
