‎The Prime Minister of the parallel government, Osama Hamad, decided to ban the keeping and raising of predatory animals in homes, farms, or private places, or leaving them roaming the streets.

‎Hamad government's decision came after a child was killed in Ajdabiya city in a lion attack while he was on a farm on the outskirts of the city, according to identical sources.

‎Hamad government granted a period of no more than 15 days to hand over predatory animals to the Ministry of Interior, in preparation for putting them in the places designated for them.

‎Earlier, identical sources confirmed that a lion had preyed on the child Salem Al-Saiti on his father's farm located east of the city of Ajdabiya, where the child was playing next to his father and approached the tied lion without the father noticing.

‎This is not the first case in which predatory animals raised in farms and homes have killed people. About a year ago, a group of lions killed a Sudanese worker on a Libyan farm while he was feeding them. Months ago, a tiger escaped from its owner's farm in Maslata and caused panic in the city, which necessitated a search for this predatory animal that had not been done yet.
