The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Haddad, visited on Saturday the Counter-Terrorism Force HQ based in Khums east of Tripoli.

Al-Haddad got an insight into some of the training activities the officers were trained for, such as landings, intrusions, and other operations.

The army's chief also toured the security and intelligence operations room, the radio and control room, the central clinic, the training centre, and administrative departments.

Al-Haddad praised the efforts of the Counter-Terrorism Force and urged its members and leadership to intensify efforts to advance the military institution.

The reception ceremony was joined by senior military officials headed by Commander of the Counter-Terrorism Force, Major General Muhammad Al-Zein, and Commander of the Central Military Region, Major General Muhammad Musa.
