Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, has reviewed with a number of parliamentary candidates from the eastern region steps taken by the Presidential Council vis-a-vis the National Reconciliation Project.

Al-Lafi stressed that the National Reconciliation Project is not tied to a specific time, and it is one of the most important pillars of building peace in Libya, and it is an ownership by all Libyans, and it is supervised by the Presidential Council, in cooperation with experts specialized in many fields from state institutions and universities.

For their part, parliamentary candidates underlined that the national reconciliation project led by the Presidential Council is proceeding at a steady pace, and its results will be fair.

They also reaffirmed their keen interest that the project would succeed as a lifeline for Libya, and they called for its support so that it achieves its desired goals, according to the media office of the Presidential Council.
