The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, proposed to the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, to hold a meeting with the Speaker of Parliament, Aqila Saleh, in the city of Ghadames, west of the country, to discuss the outstanding points in the constitutional process.
Meanwhile, Williams announced on Monday, the end of the third and final round of the joint constitutional track committee formed from both the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, without deciding the constitutional framework necessary for holding the elections, calling on the presidency of the two houses to hold a meeting after ten days.
Al-Mishri affirmed, in his letter to Williams, which was published by the Media Office of the High Council of State on its Facebook account, the continuation of what he called the policy of consensus while preserving the constants, and his full readiness to meet President of Parliament, Aqila Saleh, to discuss the outstanding points.
