The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj and German ambassador to Libya Oliver Owcza met in Tripoli Sunday and reiterated importance of committing to Berlin conference conclusions on Libya.

The two officials talked about the latest developments in Libya and joint cooperation between the two countries, especially German companies' participation in reconstruction projects.

They reiterated the need to commit to the three tracks: political, security and economic, of solution as concluded by Berlin conference and then pave the way for elections.

Owcza hailed Al-Sarraj's desire to hand over power to the executive authorities that would be later formed by dialogue committees, urging all Libyan parties to ensure a legitimate and peaceful transition of power in Libya.

The German ambassador also met with the Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri and discussed all the latest developments in the country, resumption of dialogue and Germany's role in pushing forward the political process in Libya.
