The member of the General National Congress, Abdelfattah AL-Shalwi, said on his Facebook page that the UN envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, refused to meet with the political conflict parties and left out those related to the conflict as well as he rejected all the proposed ideas that he disliked.

Al-Shalwi added that Kobler intentionally cast mystery on the dialogue, which made the agreement unfit for bringing about political stability and security in Libya as well as achieving a ceasefire as per the agreement’s articles.

“The composition of the draft was not that clear. Take for example, the essence of article (08) of the appendix rules, the constitution amendment, and the way proposed to create the Sate Council.” Al-Shalwi indicated.

He concluded by saying that the given the current political and military situations in Libya, the agreement is nothing but incomplete and flimsy as seen trying to get Libya out of its crisis despite its numerous problems and political inconsistencies, whether interior or exterior. Hence, the agreement ventures to use the Libyan crisis as a stage to play on it a number of international conflicts and hostilities, he added.
