Algeria has stated its willingness to stand with the Libyan people at all levels, including providing assistance in army and police rehabilitation programs, as well as playing a role in the national reconciliation file.
The statement was made by Algerian Ambassador to Libya, Kamal Abdel Qader, on behalf of his government during his meeting on Sunday with the head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, at the council's HQ in Tripoli.
"The meeting discussed key issues of concern and means of cooperation, in addition to the positive role of the neighbouring and brotherly country Algeria in resolving the Libyan crisis," a statement by the HCS said on Facebook.
Al-Mishri praised the efforts of Algeria in resolving the electricity crisis and its adoption of the national reconciliation file.
The talks also touched on the ongoing consultations and open paths for the Libyan dialogue, according to the HCS media office.
