Bangladeshi community

The Head of the Department of Passports, Nationality, and Foreigners Affairs convened a meeting with the Bangladeshi Ambassador to deliberate on the status of the Bangladeshi community in Libya.

The meeting, which took place at the Department's headquarters in Tripoli, was attended by the Director of the Passport Investigation Department, the Head of the Employment Office, and the Head of the Inspection Affairs Office.

The primary focus of the discussion was to address the challenges faced by the Bangladeshi community and to rectify their legal status in the country.

During the meeting, the Bangladeshi ambassador expressed appreciation for the Department's efforts in supporting the Bangladeshi community in Libya.

The Department noted that the meeting was part of the Government of National Unity's ongoing efforts to tackle the issues concerning the legal status of foreign communities and labour force in Libya.
