The Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, said the selected ministers will be sworn in next Monday at the headquarters of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Benghazi.

Dbeibah said on Twitter that after swearing in the cabinet, another HoR session will approve the GNU's budget in Tripoli.

The HoR gave confidence Wednesday to the Government of National Unity (GNU) of Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah with a majority vote of 132 members out of 133 attending ones.

Dbeibah said at the HoR session after receiving confidence that he thanks the members for choosing what is best for Libya at this "historic session", adding that the GNU is for all Libyans.

Dbeibah said his government would work hard on the reconciliation file in cooperation with the Presidential Council, vowing to coordinate with the High National Elections Commission to hold general elections on schedule.

"There is no centralism for the state or regions at this government. Libya still needs the HoR members to work on many issues such as the constitutional referendum and the budget ahead of holding general elections."
