Hanan Shalouf, a boycotting Parliament member, says there are no elections in Libya in December. 24 on the international community's agenda.

The current electoral scene is merely a show with no beginning or ending, Shalouf told The Libya Observer.

"The countries participating in the Paris conference failed to reach a consensus in the final statement, and this was a definitive declaration that there would be no elections in Libya in December."

The Geneva dialogue was established to remove former Prime Minister Fayez Al-Sarraj from the scene, Shalouf added, explaining that the objective was to create two legal representatives for the Libyan state instead of one.

"The international community made Al-Sarraj the only international representative for Libya and placed in his hands the executive authority, represented in the prime minister post, and at the same time, the former UN envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon created the Presidential Council that serves as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the head of state."

With Al-Sarraj obtaining the legislative and executive powers, he had the full authority to sign the MoU with Turkey without going to the parliament, and the west will not allow this to happen again, says Shalouf.
