The Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation of the UN-proposed government ordered the sending of 17 attaches to work in Libya’s embassies overseas, including a person named Adel Al-Sifao, who was a deputy at the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation's institutions affairs in the Salvation Government.

The Labour and Rehabilitation Ministry’s employees protested the sending ordinance for Al-Sifao – AKA “Shita” – as he is the commander of an armed group based in Ghout Al-Shaal in Tripoli, where it took part in many clashes in there and in Al-Siyahiya and Janzour districts against other armed groups.

Several employees, who preferred to remain unidentified, said the ordinance to send Al-Sifao was issued by threatening, while the ministry's Facebook page urged all of the employees to go on a strike until the Labour and Rehabilitation Minister steps down, as he was the reason behind the ordinance, which they said it was a violation of the law.

The Foreign Minister of the UN-proposed government, Mohammed Sayala, issued the ordinance No.38 for 2016 appointing 66 embassy employees distributed on four continents and divided into security attachés and security communication officials. The ordinance was issued by Sayala on December 01 last year but has gone viral on social media and local media outlets on Monday.

The Education Minister of the UN-proposed government issued on September 01 last year an ordinance that sends 85 attachés to work abroad including three of his siblings, however, his ordinance was met with strong criticism, which made him cancel it on November 03, 2016.
