A Car bomb went off outside Al-Hadbah Prison in Tripoli on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.

The prison locates senior Gaddafi regime inmates including Al-Baghdadi Al-Mahmoudi, Saadi Al-Gaddafi and Abdullah Al-Sansousi.

Prison Chief Khaled Al-Sharif, former Deputy Defense Minister, accused former regime supporters of being behind the explosion as a protest against Tripoli Court of Appeal verdicts against ex-regime figures who were sentenced to death by firing squad last July.
