Chad and Egypt have signed a protocol of agreement to study and implement a road linking the two countries through Libya, with the aim of improving connectivity and facilitating the transport of goods and movement of people. 

The Chadian Minister of Infrastructure, Aziz Mahamat Saleh, and the Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Ahmed Al-Assar, signed the agreement, which represents the launch of studies to build the road linking Chad to Egypt.

The Arab Contractors also known as Mokawloon Al-Arab, is an Egyptian regional construction and contracting company.

The protocol includes completing the detailed technical studies necessary to begin implementing the road, which comes within the framework of developing infrastructure and enhancing cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement by the Arab Contractors Company.
