Chadian President Mohamed Idriss Deby received on Tuesday, in the Chadian capital N’Djamena, a high-level delegation from the Government of National Unity (GNU).
The delegation was led by Transport Minister Mohamed Al-Shahoubi and included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Abdul Salam Zoubi.
The meeting addressed a series of issues of mutual interest, most notably cooperation in the field of air transport and the activation of direct flights between the two countries, in addition to enhancing trade and economic exchanges to serve the interests of the two peoples.
Discussions also covered the development of mechanisms for military and security cooperation, particularly regarding securing the common borders, and combating organized crime and illegal migration, thereby contributing to regional stability and protecting the national interests of both countries.
