The British Minister of State for Middle East and North African Affairs (MENA), James Cleverly, confirmed on Tuesday that there is not solution in Libya other than a political one.

This came during a telephone conversation between Cleverly and the Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, which discussed the latest developments in Libya and bilateral relations between the two countries.

Cleverly confirmed his country’s absolute condemnation of the mass graves which were discovered in Tarhuna city after its liberation from Haftar’s militias.

He announced his full support for the investigations being conducted by the competent authorities of the Government of National Accord (GNA) of these, ‘horrifying violations’, as he put it.
