The Law Enforcement Administration has announced the commencement of work by the committee tasked with resolving the situation regarding residential units owned by the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank on Airport Road in Tripoli.
The administration confirmed via its Facebook page that the initial steps involve surveying the area and addressing the files of current occupants.
Priority will be given to those with official payment receipts, followed by displaced individuals.
So far, 30 buildings within the Airport Road housing complex have been surveyed. The administration stressed that the committee will uphold justice and ensure the law is applied equally to all without exception.
The committee's formation was initiated by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah, with Major General Abdulhakim Al-Khitouni appointed as its head, to address the longstanding issues surrounding the housing units.
